And if it's done in the context of the IETF I give it a 60% chance
of outright failure and, in either case, a 100% chance of taking
5 to 10 years, which is pretty much the same thing.

I suddenly feel old. When I start thinking "I may be dead of old age
before that standard happens...." it kinda feels weird.
