Hello everyone,
Given that my esteemed colleague from Splunk :-) posted a job req to
the list, I figured I would test the limits of their hospitality :-)
and post ours as well.
So, we are looking for a Log Analyst
(http://www.loglogic.com/on-us/join-us/jobs/log_analyst/)
Some of the fun things you'd be doing are:
- Conduct research for logging/messaging capability of log sources and
capture supporting data including log message generation triggers,
content, format, storage medium, transport/protocol, and transmission
rate
- Collect and analyze sample log messages, produce and apply message
classification, and design message parsing rules
- Work with internal groups to design, implement, test, and document
device support, including processing, alerting, and reporting
capabilities
Full details are at: http://www.loglogic.com/on-us/join-us/jobs/log_analyst/
but, basically, if you love logs, come over and let's talk (to
actually love logs you need to know them pretty darn well... :-))
Best,
--
